The Financial Litigation Program is primarily responsible for collection of all Civil and Criminal money judgments awarded in the Middle District of Louisiana. Monica graduated magna cum laude from Southern University Law Center in May 2010, after receiving her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office, she was the staff attorney for the Chapter 13 Trustee, Annette C. Crawford. Monica was an associate of the law firm of Derren S. Johnson & Associates from 2010-2018, where she handled consumer bankruptcies and collections for a local credit union.
