M. BENJAMIN ALEXANDER (“Ben”) is a trial attorney with the Laborde Earles Law Firm. Ben graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at LSU with a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 2004. After law school, he joined a regional defense firm and immediately began working on insurance coverage and indemnity disputes in the offshore, oil and gas, construction and trucking industries, while at the same time litigating catastrophic injury cases in both Louisiana and Texas. He spent 13 years working as an insurance defense and coverage lawyer, and another 2 years as General Counsel and Director of Risk Management for a national energy services contractor. He now represents injured litigants in personal and commercial tort cases. Most of his 18-year career has been spent representing insurers, insureds or injured claimants on an array of coverage, bad faith, and liability disputes involving both commercial and personal lines policies.
