This presentation will discuss maritime procedural issues, including which court to file in and strategic reasons for same, removal and remand of maritime cases, limitation of liability actions and bifurcation, as well as a brief overview of the Supplemental Rules for Admiralty or Maritime Claims and other procedural implications unique to maritime cases. Furthermore, the presentation will provide both plaintiff-oriented and defense-oriented viewpoints.
