AMANDA B. GEORGE is a trial attorney for the United States Trustee for Region 5, serving in the New Orleans field office. She joined the Department of Justice in 2008 through the Attorney General Honors Program. Ms. George practices in the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana, appearing in all manners of bankruptcy cases and litigating a wide variety of issues in the Chapter 11, Chapter 7, and Chapter 13 arenas. She is a member of Louisiana State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute. She received her J.D. from Tulane Law School and her undergraduate degree in Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University
