James has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Georgia with a double major in Risk Management - Insurance and Management Information Systems. He also received his MBA from Loyola University in New Orleans. He spent the first seven years of his career working at National Insurance Broker as well as an additional two years at a local independent agent. He has spent the past 14 years with Travelers as an Account Executive Director in the Private Non Profit Management Liability Group. In this group, Travelers offers companies Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, Cyber, Errors and Omissions, Fiduciary Liability, and Kidnap and Ransom coverages. He is also the Resident Expert for Cyber Insurance for the South Central Region which includes all of Louisiana and Texas. In this role, he helps our National Cyber team develop underwriting strategies for the entire country and works with local underwriters on implementing these underwriting strategies.

Away from work, James serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Magnolia Community Services which a non profit organization that supports adults with developmental disabilities live more fulfilled lives. He currently lives in New Orleans with his wife and three daughters and is active volunteering at the girls’ schools and local playground where the youngest still plays sports.
