Tammy Jump was an Assistant District Attorney for the Second Judicial District from October of 2000 until April 2026, covering Bienville, Claiborne and Jackson Parishes. She was appointed First Assistant District Attorney in October 2010. She has prosecuted thousands of cases including drug cases, violent crimes, domestic cases, crimes against children and homicides. Tammy has been teaching legal updates with Judge Cox for over fifteen years. She is a legal instructor at the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Training Academy, the Louisiana State Police Academy and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Academy.
