Judge Guy P. Holdridge (ret.) is Director of the Louisiana State Law Institute. He served on the 23rd Judicial District Court from 1991, including several terms as chief judge, and on the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal from 2014 until his retirement in 2023. A 1978 graduate of the LSU Law Center, he has taught Louisiana Civil Procedure as an LSU Law adjunct for more than 25 years and edits Thomson Reuters' Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure.
