L. Laban Levy is a partner with Simon Fitzgerald, LLC, where his practice is devoted to representing consumer debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. He has practiced bankruptcy law since 2004 and has filed or been directly involved in thousands of consumer bankruptcy cases throughout the Western District of Louisiana. Levy received his B.S. in Business Administration from Northwestern State University and his J.D. and Bachelor of Civil Law from the LSU Law Center. Following law school, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Henry N. Brown, Jr., Chief Judge of the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
