Description

Family is considered one of the most important elements of society to create a safe, stable, and loving environment where parents can support and strengthen each other and children can learn, grow, and develop.

But what happens when you find yourself at a crossroads having to decide between right and wrong? How do you respond to pressure or being pulled in many different directions? Think about the shortcuts or detours you have taken, thinking no one will notice.

JLAP views judges, lawyers, and law students not from their perspective challenges but in association with broader issues concerning their lives.  Executive Director Dr. Angela White-Bazile, Esq. will address when family becomes overwhelming, when you want to get in your car and leave, when you would rather be anywhere but where you are.

When life gets hard, people need support. No man, woman, child, or family is an island. It takes a village, and JLAP is here to be a part of your village.

This training opportunity will teach judges, lawyers, law students, and legal professionals to build healthy and strong individuals, families, and communities.
