Louisiana's Code of Professionalism was substantially revised in 2018.  As before, the Code represents aspirational goals for attorneys to implement and maintain standards of civility and professionalism that exceed the minimum mandated by the Louisiana Rules of Professional Conduct.  Four Magistrate Judges from three Louisiana district courts have repackaged the 15 provisions to focus on best practices in your professional dealings with counsel, the Court, clients, and the larger community.
