In her fourth year as an attorney after graduating from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law School, Hayley Franklin is the term law clerk for Magistrate Judge Richard L. Bourgeois, Jr., in the Middle District of Louisiana. Before clerking, Hayley was in private practice, first as a commercial litigator associate at McGlinchey Stafford and then as a Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy associate at Stewart Robbins Brown & Altazan. While in Law School Hayley was the online editor for the Journal of Energy Law and Resources, and is now the newsletter editor for the Ethics and Professional Compensation Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Hayley enjoys board game nights, and going to the movies.
