AFCC-LA is the state chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts - an interdisciplinary and international association of professionals dedicated to developing, refining and practicing constructive resolution of family conflict. Our state chapter members include judges, attorneys, mental health professionals, academics, custody evaluators, parenting coordinators, parent educators and financial planners. The organization is unique because it is interdisciplinary; we learn from one another, and together we can address the complex issues Louisiana families bring to us. Our goal is to improve the lives of children and families through the resolution of family conflicts.
