LSU's Mineral Law Institute is the second oldest energy law program in the country and the oldest program to retain "Mineral Law" in its title. It is focused on oil & gas as well as mineral rights.

Full Conference (12.5 hrs):

Day 2 (Friday) Only (5.0): 

$225 ($275 after March 5)

Credits:

12.5 CLE credits in LA, TX, and MS
10.5 RL, RPL, or CPL credits and 2.0 Ethics Credits for AAPL landmen
 
**This course has been approved by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for certification and recertification continuing legal education requirements for attorneys and paralegals in the following specialty fields: Oil, Gas and Mineral Law (12.5 hrs.)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be received in our office in writing no later than Thursday, March 12, 2026 to receive a refund less a $50 cancellation fee. Requests may be emailed to lsucle@lsu.edu.

Parking

LSU does NOT offer free parking, nor does LSU Law control parking spots or parking policy. You have several options for paid parking. We recommend metered parking in the Union Square Garage for ease and proximity to the Law Center. Click here for info on garage parking.
